Create a Center

Kigana is a comprehensive childcare management platform that helps streamline administrative tasks, enhance communication, and improve overall efficiency in running a childcare center. In order to get started, you will need to create a childcare center on Kigana. This can be easily done through the web browser after creating an account. The process consists of three simple steps that allow you to provide information about your center, invite team members, and create child profiles.

Please follow the steps below to create your childcare center on Kigana:

Step 1: Provide center information

  1. Sign in to your Kigana account using your credentials on the Kigana website or create a new account if you haven't already.

  2. Once you are logged in, you will be directed to the center creation page if you don't have a center yet.

    You can also create additional centers if you have one already. The center creation page is available at the following link or from the Kigana dashboard: "https://kigana.com/app/bootstrap/center".

  3. You will be prompted to provide essential information about your center, such as the name, contact information, and address. Fill in the required fields accurately to ensure the correct information is stored in the system.

  4. Review the information you have entered to make sure everything is correct.

  5. Click on the "Next" button to proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Create Team Members (Optional)

  1. You will be given the option to add team members to your center.
  2. Fill in the necessary details for each team member, such as their name and email. You will be able to provide more information later.
  3. Check the box "Send invite" next to the team members that should be invited (optional). An email invitation will be sent to the respective team members, prompting them to create their own Kigana accounts and join your childcare center. You can skip this step if you want to invite them later.
  4. Use the "add more" button at the bottom of the page to add more team members (optional).
  5. Once you have entered the information, click on the "Next" button to continue to the next step.

Step 3: Create Children Profiles (Optional)

  1. After adding team members, you have the option to create profiles for the children enrolled in your childcare center.
  2. Enter the names for each child. You will be able to provide more information later.
  3. Use the "add more" button at the bottom of the page to add more children (optional).
  4. Once you have entered all children, click on the "Save" button to finish setting up your center.
  5. You will be directed to your new Kigana center dashboard.

Congratulations! You have successfully created your childcare center on Kigana, provided center information, invited team members (if applicable), and created child profiles (if applicable). You can now proceed to explore the various features and functionalities of the Kigana app to manage your childcare center efficiently.
